Among the arena's sustainable features are the diversion of more than 8,000 tons of construction waste from landfills, water reduction of at least 1.3 million gallons through the use of low-flow fixtures and faucets, using more than 20% recycled materials in construction and collecting rainwater from the roof and condensate water from the chiller equipment into a 5,000-gallon cistern for site irrigation.
