We're so excited to celebrate this special occasion with you! We kindly ask that you take a moment to review our policies and procedures—just to help make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Kia Center is a top-notch venue designed with your comfort and safety in mind. As you arrive, please be aware that everyone will go through a security screening, including metal detectors and bag checks.
To help speed things up, we recommend leaving any prohibited items at home—this includes things like weapons, alcohol, and any outside food or drinks.
Good news for graduation ceremonies: cameras and video recorders are allowed inside the arena! That includes professional DSLRs, cameras with detachable lenses, video cameras, camcorders etc.. Tripods and selfie sticks will not be permitted inside the arena.

Kia Center Bag Policy
Bags are not permitted at Kia Center events. Guests are permitted to bring one small clutch that is 4.5" x 6.5" x 1" or less. Medical and parent bags (max. 14" x 14" x 6") are exceptions but will be subject to X-ray at designated locations for entry to Kia Center.
Will parking be available?
Free parking in Geico Garage is reserved for faculty & students. There are a limited number of first-come, first-served spots available to the public.
When do doors open?
Doors open one hour prior to the posted start time.
(ie: doors open at 7:30 AM for an 8:30 AM graduation ceremony).
How do I get to Kia Center?
Kia Center is conveniently located in downtown Orlando. If you're visiting us by car, there's easy access to our ThreatLocker Garage (formerly GEICO Garage) from SR408 and I-4.
Guests are also able to purchase parking inside the 520 W Pine St. Garage (Formerly HD Supply), a short, five minute walk from the arena. The garage is located on W. Pine Street near Division Ave.
You can also utilize public transportation options, including SunRail and LYMMO, or rideshare options like Uber and Lyft.
Concessions
Concessions throughout the arena are open with limited food and beverage options during graduation ceremonies. In addition, Tavern On Church, located on the northwest corner of Kia Center (at Church St. & Division Ave.) will be open.
Flower Bouquets
-Flower bouquets are permitted inside the arena.
-Flower bouquets are available for purchase in the arena lobby and near the pedestrian bridge entrance.
Flowers are welcome, but glass vases and balloons are not.
Prohibited Items
Kia Center encourages all patrons to arrive early and travel light as each guest must adhere to a security inspection prior to entrance.
The following are prohibited items at Kia Center:
- Backpacks
- Bags
- Cans, souvenir cups and bottles (plastic or hard-sided reusable)
- Coolers and hard-sided containers
- Drones and fireworks
- Helium balloons
- Illegal drugs
- Laptops
- Laser pointers and flashlights
- Noisemakers and amplifiers
- Outside food & beverage
- Pets (except service animals)
- Recreation equipment (skates, skateboards and cycles)
- Signs larger than 11" x 17", signs on sticks, signs with indecent or derogatory comments/images, political statements or commercial references
- Unauthorized solicitation, handbills, giveaways or sampling
- Weapons of any kind
- Wrapped gifts
Post Ceremony
After the ceremony, meet your graduate at the West Plaza near Church Street and Division Avenue.

Seating is general admission and on a first-come, first-served basis. Some seating is reserved and varies school by school. Guests interested in sitting together should arrive together. Saving seats is NOT permitted.
