‘THE RIVALRY SHOWDOWN’ DEBUTS AT KIA CENTER ON MARCH 8
The historic rivalry of Puerto Rican basketball featuring Cangrejeros de Santurce and the Vaqueros de Bayamón face off in a special exhibition game, The Rivalry Showdown, at Orlando’s Kia Center on Sunday, March 8, 2026. This highly anticipated matchup will unite the Puerto Rican diaspora and basketball fans, delivering a unique experience celebrating the passion, culture and pride of the island’s rich basketball tradition. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, February 17 at 10 a.m. ET. “Bringing the Cangrejeros to Orlando is a firm step forward in our vision and international projection for the franchise. This marquee event from the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN), Puerto Rico’s top-tier men’s professional basketball league, serves as a premier international showcase and spotlights the competitiveness of both teams while broadening their reach to new audiences. It also marks a significant step in elevating Puerto Rican basketball beyond the island, taking one of its most iconic rivalries to a global stage. “This game holds very special meaning for us because it allows us to reach all of the Puerto Rican fans in Orlando who follow our league.
