The additional performances are in response to overwhelming demand across North America and Europe. With shows still yet to play on his current leg, Gillis has already set the all-time ticket sales record at six arenas and achieved historic sellouts, playing each arena’s largest comedy show of all time. This September, Gillis will headline the 80,000+ Notre Dame Stadium alongside musicians Zach Bryan and Dermot Kennedy. If a sell-out, it will surpass the world record for the largest attendance for a comedian in history.
On June 5, Season 2 of Gillis’ celebrated scripted series, “Tires,” will debut on Netflix. The acclaimed comedy sitcom is poised to cement its cult status, adding heavyweight talent including Vince Vaughn, Thomas Hayden Church, Jon Lovitz, Ron White, Veronika Slowikowska and Steph Tolev alongside returning cast including Stavros Halkias, Chris O’Connor and Kilah Fox. Season one debuted in the Netflix Top 10 to record numbers. Gillis is also co-creator and star of the hugely-popular web series “Gilly & Keeves.” The sketch series, which premiered in 2020, spawned an acclaimed feature-length special in 2022.
In 2021, Gillis released his triumphant self-funded debut “Shane Gillis: Live in Austin,” a breakthrough hit with over 40 million views. In 2023, he released his follow-up Netflix special, “Beautiful Dogs.” The critically acclaimed and fan-favorite special reached the Netflix Top 10 in five countries and spent two weeks on the US Top 10 list. “Beautiful Dogs” was produced by All Things Comedy and Gillis’ own production company, Dad Sick Productions, which he runs with longtime comedy partner and fellow Philadelphia local John McKeever.
Gillis co-hosts the comedy podcast “Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast” with comedian Matt McCusker. The show is the number one Patreon podcast in the world and has been consistently ranked in the Top 15 on Spotify’s US Comedy charts. Most recently, the duo announced a major partnership with Spotify, bringing video episodes to the platform, marking an exciting new chapter for their devoted audience.
Beyond stand-up, Gillis continues to expand his presence in major commercial campaigns. He starred in Bud Light’s blockbuster 2025 Super Bowl ad alongside Post Malone and Peyton Manning, one of the brand’s most successful campaigns to date, ranking number seven on USA Today’s AdMeter and becoming the most mentioned Super Bowl campaign in Anheuser-Busch history. He also appeared in a widely-praised digital spot for Under Armour.
